The environmental management system of REIFF Technische Produkte is now certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001.
DIN EN ISO 14001 is a globally recognized standard for environmental management systems. The requirements of the standard aim to ensure that companies foster their operational environmental protection and reduce the negative effects of their business operations on the environment.
Through the certification, it is evident to customers that REIFF is taking measures to continuously improve its environmental performance. At the forefront of the certification, REIFF made clear the impact of its business on the environment and its own CO2 footprint. Emphasis was also placed on looking at the product life cycle to work out what impact REIFF has on the environment with its product range. Finally, goals were set with which REIFF can reduce the negative impact of its business operations on the environment.
With the support of Intertek Certification GmbH, REIFF has successfully concluded the certification according to DIN EN ISO 14001. “We are very pleased to have received the certification without any deviations,” explains Oliver Noffke, Team Leader of Quality Management and Quality Assurance at REIFF, and continues: “This confirms our work to achieve our environmental goals. Sustainable action is an essential part of our corporate strategy, and we are proud to hold a certificate that confirms our commitment to sustainability.”
