Europe has played a big roll in EDiS. Since the foundation in 1992, all EDiS partners have shared a common goal: to connect markets and their stakeholders across our continent as well as creating a successful collaboration across economic and cultural boundaries.
EDiS group consists of a pool of leading European distributors, which even though operating separately in their own markets, are sharing their knowledge for even better performance, accompanied by common purchasing activities around the world. The core product ranges are industrial and hydraulic hoses, couplings as well as fluid handling systems.
The EDiS network exists since 1992 and consists currently of 10 independent companies, representing all markets in Europe. All companies are service orientated in sales and logistics and run their own production or assembling workshops to offer added value to the customer. They are all known for their engineering capacities in the world of hoses and other rubber as well as plastic products. EDiS partners are able to supply customers in Europe and overseas.
In total, all members combined employ 2,988 employees in 190 points of sale in 25 countries. Currently, our total purchase volume is more than 500 mil. Euro, but the EDiS network is determined to grow. Therefore, EDIS is always prepared for new members. The benefits for the EDiS members include that we are a distribution partners of leading brand manufacturers and function as a door-opener for companies which want to enter the European industrial market.
EDiS, Europe’s leading distributors of industrial supplies, operate not only in the European market, but worldwide. Since 1991, the companies have been working closely together to shape the markets. In 2017, the European community of distributors of industrial supplies celebrated its 25th anniversary. EDiS is an association of ten distributors in Europe specializing in industrial and hydraulic hoses, rubber sheets and personal protection equipment.
The EDiS partners attach great importance to a perfect and individual processing service. Various expert groups meet regularly to exchange information about new products and industry trends. The result is a transnational community that discusses market requirements and develops solutions together. The EDiS management ensures international exchange and European activities.

The aims of EDiS are to know each market to interprete their specific requirements, to anticipate the customers necessities thanks to the exchange of partners and updating of products. Such aims are reached through a continuous monitoring, made by its members, about the evolution of customers necessities in the different markets. The growth of group members will gradually cover all Europe and each member will operate in his own area.

A team of open minded experts, well trained and aware of how important it is to keep up with changes, requirements of markets and uses who are more and more sophisticated and demanding. The forming of such men is followed by EDiS which prepares them and constantly keeps them up to date to make them the ideal partners of their own customers.
Technical articles, hoses and couplings, rubber and plastic materials, safety products: A large variety of supplies characterised by quality and competitive prices. The EDiS products are a safe investment owing to the continuous research of the best supplying sources, the constant selection of the innovative proposals the presence of warehouses in various European countries and a deep distribution of products are two other main points in the EDiS cooperation.
Members of EDiS do not only deal with a huge variety of technical products – overall there are more than 200.000 different products, including – o-rings, shaft seals, hydraulic seals, safety shoes, foodstuff hoses, compressed-air hoses, sealing rings – they also elaborate these products.
They assemble hoses and couplings into complete lines, cut or stamp rubber plates or finished gasket systems.
Product specialists of all EDiS members are meeting in expertgroups at regular intervals. Here they discuss trends in their respective sectors, new products, innovations and industry demand. This regular exchange brings forward valuable knowledge and a coordinated effort on advising and delivering to international customers.
